Dr.Hasit B. Joshipura is a Member of Executive Management Committee and Head of Corporate Centre at Larsen & Toubro Limited. A Graduate in Electrical Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai University, he completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the venerated Indian Institute of Management (IIM) – Ahmedabad. He completed his Doctorate (Ph.D.) from the School of Management at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai and also holds a degree in Law.
Mrs. Farida Lambay

Mrs. Farida Lambay is co-Founder of Pratham. She has over 25 years of experience as an education and social activist. She presently heads the Pratham Council for Vulnerable Children and has led Pratham's work in the area of child labour in various states over the years. In addition to her work at Pratham, she is the former Vice Principal of the Nirmala Niketan College of Social Work in Mumbai.
Dr. Madhav Chavan

Dr. Madhav Chavan is the co-Founder of Pratham. He is in charge of vocational training and digital learning innovations at Pratham. He acquired a Ph.D. in Chemistry at the Ohio State University in the US in 1983 and returned to India in 1986 after his post-doctoral work at the University of Houston. In 1989, while teaching at the University of Mumbai, he started mass scale work for adult literacy in the slums of Mumbai as a part of the National Literacy Mission.
Mr.Satish Sahney

Mr. Satish SahneySahney is the Chief Executive, Nehru Center, Mumbai. He joined the Indian Police Service in 1963 and thereafter worked in various police organisations. Mr. Sahney was appointed Commissioner of Police in Thane & subsequently greater Mumbai during his tenure with the India Police Service.
Ms.Usha Rane

Ms.Usha Rane has been one of the leaders of the teaching-learning innovations at Pratham.
Prior to joining Pratham, she worked with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. In 2002, she authored the
"Maharashtra State Human Development Report", which focused on the issue of the social development in the state.
Mobilising communities and catalyzing schools to deliver basic learning on a mass-scale has been one of her primary
interests
Dr.Vaijayanti Pandit

Dr.Vaijayanti Panditi She is Advisor Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research. She headed FICCI west, and was associated with IMC for over 2 decades. She has done her PhD on
Women Entrepreneurship Development from JBIMS and she is the recipient of the
“Maharashtra Gaurav Puraskar”. She has also Authored “Business@Home” and “Everyday
Yoga”. She has travelled widely across the world to over 40 countries with Business
Delegations and served as an Independent Director on a few Boards leading their CSR
Initiatives.
Dr Varsha Gathoo.

Dr Varsha Gathoo is a Fulbright Senior Research Fellow, LEND Fellow and a Rotary International Fellow who has been working in the field of special and inclusive education for over 33 years. She has a rich cross-functional experience in teaching, research, curriculum development, project management and evaluation, mentoring and publications. She has also contributed to the development of test tools, training manuals and policy documents for early identification and intervention of children with disabilities, school readiness programs and inclusive education practices.
Smt M V Bhanumathi

Smt M V Bhanumathi is a retired Indian Revenue Service officer who has served in
various departments of Government of India for 35 years. She has a Master’s degree
in Public Administration, Agriculture and Law. She has held many prestigious positions
in the fields of anti-money laundering, counter financing of terrorism, international
cooperation and defence. She has also led investigations against economic offenders and
helped charitable organisations to avail tax exemptions. She is currently an expert adviser in the
UNDO panel for fighting tax crime.
